But what about the food? This East African country offers mouth-watering dishes with delicious ingredients that we want to share with you. You too can enjoy these special flavours in your own home.

Sample Dishes:
Nyama Chomo: a classical barbeque dish with beef, chicken or fish that is slow-roasted in its own juice and so tender it melts in the mouth.
Ugali: the essence of comfort food: a starchy cornmeal dish, similar to polenta, which the Kenyans use to accompany almost every meal.
Chicken Biryani and Pilau: this dish is made with chicken, dried fruit and spices cooked with basmati rice.
Pilau is usually a one-pot rice dish made with an amazing blend of spices like cumin, cinnamon, cardamom and clove
Chips Masala: French fries with a tasty spicy sauce
Chapati: a side dish made from flour dough that is fried on a skillet with lots of ghee or vegetable oil so that the chapatti is doughy inside but crisp on the outside.
Samosa: a fried pastry, which is filled with ingredients such as, spices potatoes, onions and peas.
