Terms & Conditions

1. Health and Safety
We ask all participants to follow the indications given by our staff, in the interest of health and safety

2. Payments and Cancellation
a. full payment must be made prior to a session commencing
b. up to 7 days of notice of cancellation, your booking can be transferred to another course or a full refund, less 10% administration change, will be given;
c. shorter notice may result in no refund with the possibility of transferring to another course;
d. Lismullin Cookery School cannot provide refunds or alternative dates for missed classes

3. What to Bring:
a. an apron if the session involves a practical hands-on experience;
b. plastic containers to take food home
c. we advise participants to wear comfortable and safe shoes: sandals and sleeveless garments are not recommended

4. Class Content:
Lismullin Cookery School reserves the right to amend class content but you will be advised of any changes

5. Photographs:
a. photographs may be taken from time to time
b. in the case of children, parental consent will be required if photograph will be taken
c. any photographs taken will only be used for records and/or appropriate display publications for the Lismullin Cookery School

Useful Information

Demonstration and Hands-on Classes
1. Please bring your own apron (children only).
2. For safety and comfort, wear flat, closed-toe rubber-soled shoes or runners. Long hair must be tied back.
3. Bring a pen and notebook to write down tutors tips and advice. The school will provide copies of recipes at each class.
4. From time to time leftover food from the classes can be taken home. For this purpose we suggest you bring along some Tupperware.

Ingredients
We provide all ingredients, equipment and recipes, unless stated in the course description.

Punctuality
Classes start on time, so please arrive punctually (5-10 minutes beforehand).

Location
We are located halfway between Dunshaughlin and Navan at the foot of the Hill of Tara. Travelling from the M3, the conference centre is accessible by taking Exit 7 (Skryne/Johnstown) on the M3 from Dublin. On reaching the top of the ramp, turn left on to the R147. Lismullin is located about 400 metres further up this road on the left side. Travelling from Navan, the conference centre is accessible by taking Exit 7 (Skryne/Johnstown) on the M3 from Navan. On reaching the top of the ramp, go around the roundabout and take the turn to left on to the R147.

Lismullin School of Culinary and Home Arts is part of the Lismullin Conference Centre complex. On entering Lismullin entrance, take the right and continue driving until you reach the school.

Parking
There is parking outside the School of Culinary & Home Arts. Access is through Lismullin Hospitality gates, driving straight towards the opening at the green fence ahead. Parking is free.

Wheelchair Access
We have access by wheelchair. However to ensure that we can meet all your needs and for your own enjoyment of the facilities we would appreciate if you wish to avail of these facilities, that you contact us one week prior to the course.
